Special performance of Reda folkloric troupe Within celebration of the National Day of Egypt
Reda troupe has been established in 1959 by professor Mahmoud Reda, who gathered the University students and taught them choreographies based on his thorough research of Egyptian folklore, including music, lyrics, popular stories and dances. The troupe performs traditional dances from different Governorates of Egypt, including coastal areas, Nubia, Upper Egypt, and typical dances of nomadic communities and rural area. Reda troupe, as a part of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, represents Egypt in festivals and international events.
