Tour of Henan Arts Group from China

On October 21, Opera&Theatre Madlenianum is a host of the Tour of Henan Arts Group from China, with their Dance and Song Ensemble and the Acrobatic Troupe of Zhongyue which will show us famous Shaolin Martial Arts. In the organization of The Opera Madlenianum Friends Society, they will have their small tour through Eastern Serbia, visiting the towns of Zajecar, Negotin, and Smederevo.

The artists of Henan Arts Group come from two professional performance troupes. One is called Henan Song and Dance Performance Group and the other one is Zhongyue Shaolin Zen Boxing Troup. Henan Song and Dance Performance Group is the most important state-owned culture group in Henan province. Some of its productions have won many national level awards, and have been invited by many countries.

Zhongyue Shaolin Zen Boxing Troup was established in 1998. From then on, it has demonstrated Shaolin Kung Fu in various places for about 30,000 times including dozens of countries. Many VIPs have seen their performances, such as Putin, the Present of Russia, Merkel, the Prime Minister of Germany.

Ms. Wang Quanzhen is a famous Yu Opera actress and is highly renowned in China. She has a pure voice and vivid performance, which gives the opera an unforgettable charm.

The program, 90 minutes duration, consists of attractive pieces, artists played on traditional Chinese instruments and perform ceremonial dance, and we are honored to hear the famous artist of Yu Opera. The ancient Shaolin skills, which are a combination of Kung Fu and Zen meditation, cycled with traditional Chinese dance and song.
