European Opera Days At Madlenianum
Since 2005 the Opera and Theatre Madlenianum has been the member of the international association Opera Europa that involves 137 opera houses from 37 different countries. Opera Days are held every year in May. This year the days are marked by the slogan Journey to Opera and referring to that our decision is to perform the complete “children’s program” to the audience during one day.
On this occasion we will first perform “The Magic Flute” of Mozart on Saturday 10th May at 11:00 AM and “The Elixir of Love” of Doniceti at 19:30 PM. The ticket price is 300 RSD. In the period between two performances, the interactive concert of classical music MY NOTES, intended for preschool age children and people with development disabilities, will be performed at Bel Etage at 16:00 PM. The entrance to the concert is free. The professional musicians will dedicate the inclusive concert to them and they will also be invited to attend our performances together with their parents.
We have turned to young audience, the opera lovers that should be created and to the children with special needs as well. We believe that a purposefully spent day at the Opera and Theatre Madlenianum will mean more than just a theatrical event and the affirmation of music and opera. Therefore, after their stay in the theater premises, we wish them wrote school works and compositions, short essays that we should evaluate and by the end of this season the best works would be awarded.
